    Homebrew Campaign World

Well i mapped my home brew world...ummm..oops....after three attempts I was happy with the result of the fourth attempt....except that the continents are HUGE!! meaning the planet itself is MASSIVE!! At a rough guess on the Pathfinder Inner sea map the continent containing Osirion is about 1000 mile across, that's what i wanted as minimum...like i said oops - oh well it's fantasy...it leaves huge, no massive, no I think the phrase should be *checks thesaurus* Brobdingnagian size continents resulting in gargantuan expanses of wilderness....anyone else had this problem?

Not to mention the effects of gravity in a world of that size. You could try shrinking the entire sphere by a specific factor.

yeah thanx for that - we all know it's a fantasy world but i even considered plate tectonics when designing the continents. I very pleased with the layout, i just need to fudge a few things

I use campaign cartographer for most map making and it allows me to easily scale things to an appropriate size. I could "draw" the world to my visual aestetics, and then scale it all in one very easy function. That is the beauty of map scales. It wouldn't mess up your plate tectonic work either since the only real difference is the distance ratio.

Overachievers. I drew the one relevant kingdom for the start of the campaign for my homebrew world on the back of a page of my Shadowrun character sheet during a long combat. It has a desert for no reason and all the rivers fork the wrong way.
