Forging the Realms articles by Ed Greenwood

    Hello All,

For those that haven't seen them, Ed Greenwood has been writing several great articles about managing various of his Forgotten Realms campaigns, that are filled to the brim with excellent DMing advice on how to build cities, create plots, manage encounter pacing and types, and make the campaign world come alive in your player's minds.

Nineteen such articles have been written so far and you can access the article archive (for free; no paywall) here.

The latest article is called Foundation Stones

Thumbs up The Lost Crown of Athalantar

The latest Forging the Realms article is up on the WotC site: The Lost Crown of Athalantar.

This article got me thinking about "haunted" crowns in the Realms. I bet there are a few crowns of rank worn by Cormyrean nobles that have taken up some form of sentience.
