Featured Realms articles here on Loremaster.

If you have something you would like to write up and have featured on the Loremaster front page, feel free to pitch ideas. All articles will remain on the site in the Forgotten Realms area and you'll be doing a great service for the community.

    Here are some basic requirements:
    • Minimum of 500 words
    • No plagurizing someone elses work
    • Citations are required when referencing a sourcebook, novel, or other piece of content.
    • Well polished article. I'll try to do some basic editing if required, but please try to submit something that has been reviewed. Your name will be on the piece, so keep your reputation high!

I can't pay anyone for their piece of fan-fiction. This site has no ads. I pay for it all out of my pocket. A few years ago I did have a donation system, which helped immensely with the costs of this site, but I haven't had it up for awhile.

Remember that the Realms are what we make of it. Let's have some fun.

How about an article that riffs off of one or more of the loose plot threads in the Volo's Guides?

There are so many open-ended bits and pieces of information (for DMs to use, of course) in the various Volo's Guides, that an article showing examples of how one DM builds off of them might be interesting, as well as reinforce the idea that the Realms are there for DMs to make it their own.

    What do you say, Matt?
Realmslore is a lot like a fractal: the thinner you slice it the more details you get. This is why there are no absolutes in the Realms.
