Thread: Who Made the Best Sword?

I like Swords. Alot. If there was no magic in D&D I still would be just as big of a fan as I am.

so IRL who made the best sword from the give list.

I chosse similar swords and put them in parenthesiss next to the more common form, since there are so many varieties out there. It probably comes down to a matter of taste, but I think the Rapier is the best.

this is a tamer debate, but still a fun one, i hope matt keeps it open.

I just realized i didn't even answer my own question.

The Spanish made the best sword when they invented the Rapier.

I always loved the Katana the whole strength of the steel and that the whole blade needs to have specific movements to maximize damage. The whole process of making the blade it always was something not just anyone could do.

why cant you vote?

I doubt many people could make many of these blades today as good as they were when they were needed.

This is what my poll says. Maybe it is just me, I have been banned from polls.
