In March PHB3 will be released and we will see the strength based build for the monk. Until then our half-orc kung fu masters don't have a way to exhibit their inherent strength bonus. Here is a sample power meant for any monk who favors strength over wisdom.
The Monastery of the Eight Great Beasts is founded on the principles of strength over subtlety, power over finesse. Their forms have been honed to completely overwhelm their enemies as a predator overwhelms its prey. The first form young disciples are taught is that of the tiger, channeling its ferocity and learning to ignore any obstacle that gets in their way.

About the power: I designed this power with the Swordmage power Greenflame Blade in mind and made a couple changes to make it more strikery and in line with other monk powers. I kept the damage on the first target in line with other single target monk powers, if it had been 1d8 then it would have been significantly worse than Five Storms due to its reliance on the first attack hitting. Although the hit effect allows a secondary attack rather than automatic damage (such as greenflame blade again), the secondary damage is rolled. This means you can add your enchantment bonus and other modifiers to it. This power goes particularly well with Masterful Spiral's stance and other effects which increase your melee touch reach.
Since it is a full discipline power it is important to pay attention to the movement action it allows. While climbing isn't as universally useful as shifting 2 squares or moving your speed+2 this movement power gives you the benefit of the Sure Climber feat with an extra bonus to the check on top of it. I am also particularly fond of the flavor combination of Tiger, Claws, and Climbing.
