Ashes of Athas

I have been assisting in getting up the Ashes of Athas campaign over at Baldman Games (proprietors of the DDXP convention). Three adventures are being released this year at DDXP, with more expect for the other major convention. Head on over and check it out. It just might be a great reprieve for those looking for something new. This is not an official living campaign, but who knows, maybe one day it will be.

We got to playtest the second adventure of three. It was a little weird because we obviously only had limited knowledge of the events of adventure one, and even fewer of adventure three. However, this one is definitely "The Empire Strikes Back" of the trilogy. Usually a second part of three can be somewhat disjointed or boring. This one has a lot of moving parts and is bound to offer the player's a very distinct experience.
